Castaway team members attended some of the Xero Roadshows in Australia and New Zealand during August and September. This was a great opportunity to meet customers and chat to accountants and bookkeepers about how they are using Castaway and how they can use Castaway to deliver better services for their businesses and their clients.
In partnership with Xero, across both countries, we shared how businesses and advisors can scale by preparing powerful forecasts & business models. We took plenty of notes about what YOU are looking for in a forecasting and business modelling product and we even took most of Castaway's Product team on the road with us in New Zealand!

Australian Trade Small Business Champion Awards
Now in it's 2nd year, the biggest celebration for Australian Trades acknowledges tradespeople who are contributing, influencing and leading their sectors and trades. Castaway again judged and sponsored in 2024
Continuing our commitment to our chosen charity, Tour de Cure Australia, our team have recently been involved in volunteering for, and supporting gala events including the Snow Ball and the Garrison Gala. In addition, we are also involved in rider and support crew training and leadership.
We are very proud of Castaway's seven years of dedication and fundraising, which has meant we've been able to contribute thousands and thousands of much-needed dollars to Australian cancer researchers through Tour de Cure grants (so far). In addition, the team provides thousands of hours a year to developing riders, support crew and other initiatives. Incredibly today we celebrate with the entire Tour de Cure family helping fund 159 funded cancer breakthroughs.
In early November, we will support and participate in the 10th anniversary of the 3-day Can4Cancer Ride. The Commonwealth Bank's Can4Cancer is celebrating 10 years of impact with an ambitious 2024 target to raise $20million with 10,000 participants across 18 events!
