Recently our founders Michael Ford and Jo Buchanan joined 3 or 4 Tour de Cure tours, the ultimate being the 9-day Signature Tour with Australian of the year Professor Richard Scolyer and Australian cycling royalty, Richie Porte (pictured above), along with 150 other amazing humans.
We are very proud of Castaway's six years of dedication and fundraising, which has meant we've been able to contribute thousands and thousands of much-needed dollars to Australian cancer researchers through Tour de Cure grants (so far). In addition, the team provides thousands of hours a year to developing riders, support crew and other initiatives. Incredibly today we celebrate with the entire Tour de Cure family helping fund 150 cancer breakthroughs.
We are not stopping there. Michael is once again going on tour but this time heading 'off road'. Joining friend Peter Braine and a small group of crazy mountain bikers on his 2nd ALT Tour. You can support his fundraising by donating to Tour de Cure.
